I live in Wichita Falls, TX and have lived in town since 2005. I was a full time teacher for five years and love working with youth and people in general. My wife Jessie is also a teacher (6th grade Science at another Middle School in town). We have two daughters and one son.

I was raised in Henrietta, TX (20 miles west of Wichita Falls) and my wife in Wichita Falls. After graduating from Oklahoma State University in 2002, I worked in San Angelo, TX for the Concho Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America (now the Texas Southwest Council). I'm an Eagle Scout and love Scouting. I spent three years in San Angelo and promoted home to Wichita Falls with the Northwest Texas Council, Boy Scouts of America from 2005-2014.

In 2014, I left professional Scouting for an opportunity with a farm credit agency where I got my first experience lending money (I had a fair amount of experience in borrowing at this point). The agencies focus was on ranching, farming and agricultural needs but I really enjoyed working with people to purchase land. I was helping people achieve their dreams of owning land and most of the time, building on it and that was amazing to be a small part of someone's life but have a huge impact.

In 2016, I felt called to go back to serving youth and decided to pursue my Master's in Education and teaching certification. After completing the 2 year program in a little over a year, I entered the teaching profession in 2017 and exited in 2022 to focus on my rentals and mortgage business.

So why become a Mortgage Loan Originator? I hadn't thought about it much until a friend of mine, a realtor, said "hey, didn't you have a lot of fun when you were a loan officer previously and would you be interested in doing it again and helping me help people get into their dream houses"? Answer?....Yes I would. So here I am, ready to serve you.
